Freddie Watson on Thomas the Tractor

Six year old Freddie Watson is a keen supporter of the RNLI and for his birthday asked if he could look round the lifeboat station.  He also generously donated £25 of his pocket money to the Dart lifeboat and for a Christmas present his Granny made him a Storm Force member of the RNLI. Details of Storm Force are on the main page of this Juniors section of the web site.
Freddie had enjoyed the recent visit from the Dart lifeboat education team to his school and said that he particularly liked the story about the dog rescued from a hidden cove on Christmas Day.

Alexander hands an unexpected Easter present to the Dart crew.

Alexander Woodley has been passionate about lifeboats for as long as he can remember. He missed the naming ceremony of the newly built Dart lifeboat by a week when he was in Dartmouth on holiday last year but that did not dampen his enthusiasm. He is a junior member of the RNLI and proudly wears his Crew badge. He took all his RNLI memorabilia into school to give a talk during a project on "those who help us". He has been saving his pocket money for over a year and put aside money given at Birthdays and Christmastime. On Easter Sunday he proudly handed over his savings of £72.84 to the crew before taking part in the Easter Egg hunt laid on for the children of those linked to the station - guess who won? He has even been back to give a further donation since then.
