A 42 ft yacht with three men on board requested help due to loss of engine power. They were able to sail into the Bight, where they lowered their sails and were taken in tow by the Dartmouth D class inshore lifeboat. They were secured alongside the Town Quay. The call out was noteworthy because of the torrential rain, the strength of the wind from the S East and the size of the yacht.
