The two man crew on a 55ft yacht on passage from Brixham to Dartmouth asked for assistance when they developed engine failure in winds gusting to Force 6. The Coastguard tasked the RNLI Dart Atlantic 75 inshore lifeboat to assist and they found the boat near the Eastern Blackstone. Lifeboat crewman Stuart Millard was put aboard the yacht and she was sailed to a more sheltered position in the Dart Harbour mouth. She was then taken in a stern tow into the harbour and taken to the Darthaven Marina.
