Casualty transferred from Kingswear deep water pontoon

A yachtsman passed out on his yacht whilst raising the sails alongside the Kingswear deep water pontoon. It was a very hot and sunny day. The casualty was moved on a stretcher to the inshore lifeboat and transferred to the lifeboat station. He was given fluids and monitored by the Paramedic on the lifeboat crew. No Ambulance was available and the patient recovered and decided to be taken home.
