Location: Dartmouth Harbour from the Higher Ferry to the mouth of the river.

The RNLI Dart D class lifeboat was self launched 50 minutes after the RNLI Dart Atlantic 75 lifeboat, to assist the Police in their continuing search for a missing person.. The river was at low tide and was searched from the Higher Ferry to the river mouth. Police divers also searched the Kingswear side of the river and were joined by the Police helicopter. The search was again unsuccessful.
