False alarm

Location: Dartmouth Harbour

A 25 year old fisherman on an 18 foot boat called his family in distress. They relayed the message to the Coastguard who asked the RNLI Dart inshore lifeboat to launch and investigate. The lifeboat crew found that the boat had returned safely to its berth in the harbour and the originator of the message had left the scene. The call-out has been logged as a false alarm.

Visitor Centre opening hours

The shop is open from 26 April 2021 from 11am to 1pm. on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday and from 11am to 3pm on Wednesdays. It is hoped to extend these times again shortly.
