Dart B Class lifeboat and her four volunteer crew had an early Saturday start to go to the assistance of a local fishing boat suffering from total engine failure. She was found east of the Mewstone and off Coleton Fishacre. The crew successfully assisted in getting a tow rope attached and towed the vessel back to Dartmouth Harbour. The shout was all the more atmospheric with low fog over the river but lovely sunshine out to sea.
