RNLI Dart inshore lifeboat was tasked by Falmouth Coastguard to the Rose of Sharon, an 18m ex St Ives trawler which was taking on water. The lifeboat crew took their salvage pump and assisted members of the Harbour Authority who had two pumps on board. The leak was due to a faulty water cooling pipe. Temporary repairs were made and a salvage team was notified.
