The Coastguard requested the launch of the RNLI Dart inshore lifeboat to assist the Police in a call to a distressed lady on board a day boat moored to the dinghy pontoon at the Double Steps in Dartmouth Harbour. An ambulance and the coastguard team also attended. The lifeboat went alongside as the Police boarded the boat. The Police were able to assess the situation and stood the other services down.
