Medevac after being in Raft Race

Location: Pontoon by the Double Steps. Dartmouth Harbour.

The RNLI Dart Atlantic 75 lifeboat  was on exercise in Dartmouth Harbour when they were called over by members of the public to a participant in the Regatta Raft race who had fallen on the pontoon after disembarking from his raft. The First Aid trained crew quickly assessed him, got him out of the sun and cooled him down. He was assisted ashore by the lifeboat crew and handed over to the Event medical team.
