The Coastguard requested the medical evacuation of a lady with symptoms of a medical condition that had not responded to her usual medication. She was assessed by the RNLI crew and taken from her yacht on a floating Kingswear pontoon to waiting paramedic ambulance crew and Coastguard team on the Kingswear passenger ferry pontoon. Lifeboat crew. Buster Hart, helmsman. Steve Wallis and Lee Darch crew. Launch Crew. Pete Callis, tractor driver. Mark Conroy and Yorkie Lomas crew.

Visitor Centre opening hours

The shop is now open from 11am to 3pm. on Monday, Thursday and Saturday and from 11am to 1pm on Tuesday and Wednesdays. After closing on Saturday 4 December the VC will be closed until the start of half term week in Feb 2022.
