The Coastguard tasked the RNLI Dart inshore lifeboat to a 6.5 m. motor boat with four people on board, adrift due to a fowled propeller. On arriving at the scene the lifeboat crew cut the boat free and towed them back into Dartmouth harbour. At the Higher ferry a boat from the Dart Harbour Authority took them in tow to Blackness Marine.
