Location: Start bay. Search area Froward Point to Scabbacombe.

The Coastguard requested that the Dart ILB search the area from the mouth of the Dart to Scabbacombe in the East as they had received several reports of sightings of 2 red flares in the area. The area from Berry Head to Scabbacombe was searched by the Torbay ALB and the cliffs were searched by mobile CG teams. The visibility was extremely good and nothing untoward was found.

Visitor Centre opening hours

The shop is now open from 11am to 3pm. on Monday, Thursday and Saturday and from 11am to 1pm on Tuesday and Wednesdays. After closing on Saturday 4 December the VC will be closed until the start of half term week in Feb 2022.
