Shoreline search for missing lady at Stoke Gabriel

The second launch of the day of the naming ceremony was before the teas had finished. An elderly infirm lady had been reported to the Police as missing on a walk between Stoke Gabriel and Mill Point. The Coastguard requested the ILB to search the shoreline. She was found unharmed at Mill Pool by the mobile Coastguard unit and the lifeboat was stood down.

Visitor Centre opening hours

The shop is now open from 11am to 3pm. on Monday, Thursday and Saturday and from 11am to 1pm on Tuesday and Wednesdays. After closing on Saturday 4 December the VC will be closed until the start of half term week in Feb 2022.
