Six on boat with engine failure

Location: Newfoundland Cove. Dart Estuary.

The crew of a RIB coming into Dartmouth Harbour reported to a member of the RNLI Dart Operations team that there was a boat with engine failure drifting in Newfoundland Cove. The message was passed to the Coastguard who requested the lifeboat to launch. The crew found two adults and four teenagers on board an 18 ft Plymouth Pilotboat  at anchor in the cove. The boat was taken in tow to its mooring in Dartmouth Harbour.
