Dart RNLI Atlantic 85 was launched to provide assistance to an 8.5m yacht with 4 persons on board, reporting engine failure, just outside the entrance to the river Dart. The lifeboat provided a tow into the Yacht Club Pontoon as the sun was setting.

Visitor Centre opening hours

The shop is now open from 11am to 3pm. on Monday, Thursday and Saturday and from 11am to 1pm on Tuesday and Wednesdays. After closing on Saturday 4 December the VC will be closed until the start of half term week in Feb 2022.
