A 30ft Dartmouth yacht with two on board lost her rudder in rough seas 37 miles off Salcombe. She was at the western end of the traffic separation zone. The RNLI Salcombe Tamar all weather lifeboat took her in tow and brought her to the mouth of the Dart. As the yacht had no steerage the RNLI Dart inshore lifeboat worked with the Dart Harbour Authority Rib to tow her to a berth on Noss Marina.
