RNLI Dart Triathlon Challenge 6 July 2014

RNLI Dart crew volunteers raised £1321

Eight members of the Dart lifeboat crew ran 10 miles from Kingswear to Berry Head along the coastal footpath in 2 hours 16 minutes. They then cycled 10.5 miles to the Totnes Boating Association HQ in 1 hour 8 minutes. Pausing only for a refreshment break at the Ferry Boat Inn at Dittisham, they paddled down the Dart from Totnes to the launch slip in Dartmouth. £66 in donations from the customers at the Ferry Boat Inn was added to the £1255 the crew had raised in sponsorship.
