Sea Safety

The Dart RNLI Sea Safety Officer is John Yunnie and he has a team of Sea Safety Advisers who work with him.
The RNLI has a section of their central web site dedicated to Sea Safety. Sailors and surfers, divers and power boaters will all find it equally useful.
From booking a sea survival demonstration online, to downloading any of the RNLI’s safety publications or browsing the latest safety news, the central website provides a one-stop shop for everyone who wants to stay safe while enjoying themselves on the water.
Boat owners can also book a SEA Check online and there is a region-by-region listing of events where the Sea Safety team will be on hand to offer advice and demos.

The new, free, interactive Sea Safety, The Complete Guide will help you to stay safe at sea whilst enjoying yourself - order it now and read it before you need it!
This guide covers all of the RNLI's safety messages in an easily accessible format. The booklet provides top-level safety information that is generic to everyone. Integral to the booklet is a CD-ROM that allows you to obtain customised information covering topics such as flares, sea survival and navigation.
The Guide can be read on line before you order.
