32ft yacht breaks down at sea

Location: Half a mile off entrance to Dartmouth Harbour

The Dart lifeboat was called out to assist a 32’ yacht that had broken down. The yacht “Poseidonian� with a single crew aboard had been underway for 24 hours and had experienced battery failure. She sailed into Castle range escorted by the lifeboat which then towed the yacht into the harbour. Lifeboat crew: Kevin Murphy (Helm) with Haydn Glanvill and Al Duffy crew. Visitor Centre opening hours

The shop is open from 26 April 2021 from 11am to 1pm. on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday and from 11am to 3pm on Wednesdays. It is hoped to extend these times again shortly.
