Boy thought to be in the water

The Dart inshore lifeboat was tasked to search the harbour in the vicinity of the Lower Ferry slip after a boy was thought to be possibly in the water.

No one was found and the search was stood down by the Police after an hour when wet footprints were found by the Dartmouth Coastguard volunteers leading away from the water at Bayards Cove.

Visitor Centre opening hours

The shop is now open from 11am to 3pm. on Monday, Thursday and Saturday and from 11am to 1pm on Tuesday and Wednesdays. After closing on Saturday 4 December the VC will be closed until the start of half term week in Feb 2022.
