Fisherman loses his propeller

Location: Mouth of the River Dart.

A call was received from a fisherman on a 12 ft dinghy in Mill Bay Cove at the mouth of the Dart. He was advised to drop his anchor as he had lost his propeller and was close to rocks. The Coastguard was informed and they requested a launch. The boat was towed back to its berth in the Dartmouth Boat Float.

Visitor Centre opening hours

The shop is open from 26 April 2021 from 11am to 1pm. on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday and from 11am to 3pm on Wednesdays. It is hoped to extend these times again shortly.
