A 15ft day fishing boat with one on board suffered engine failure in the vicinity of Combe Point. A yacht took him in tow but requested that the lifeboat took over the tow once in the harbour. The fishing boat was berthed on the low water landing as the lifeboat crew were aware that the local volunteer Coastguard team had been called out and they might be needed.
