The RNLI inshore lifeboat and the Dartmouth Coastguard SAR team were tasked by the Coastguard when an inflatable was reported to have been blown out to sea from Blackpool Sands. As the inflatable was not immediately observable and the wind was fresh, the lifeboat carried our a search as they approached Blackpool Sands. The inflatable was recovered from the rocks 150m east of Blackpool sands. In the event no one had been in the inflatable and the owners were ashore with the Coastguard team.
