Launch to 6m Plymouth Pilot with Engine Failure

Dart RNLI inshore lifeboat was requested to launch to a 6m Plymouth Pilot with engine failure drifting towards the rocks at Froward Point with four adults on board. The ILB crew recovered the casualty and towed her back to Dartmouth town pontoon where they were met by the Dartmouth Coastguard search & Rescue Team.

Visitor Centre opening hours

The shop is now open from 11am to 3pm. on Monday, Thursday and Saturday and from 11am to 1pm on Tuesday and Wednesdays. After closing on Saturday 4 December the VC will be closed until the start of half term week in Feb 2022.
