Location: West of the Western Blackstone. Start Bay.

A RIB with two adults and four children on board broke down west of the Western Blackstone to the west of the harbour entrance. A passing 30 ft. yacht also responded to their call and towed them towards Dartmouth Harbour. The RNLI Dart inshore lifeboat took over the tow in the Bight of the river and took them to the Royal Dart Yacht Club.

Visitor Centre opening hours

The shop is open from 26 April 2021 from 11am to 1pm. on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday and from 11am to 3pm on Wednesdays. It is hoped to extend these times again shortly.
