Mayday call from Motor cruiser with engine failure

The Coastguard tasked the Dart RNLI Inshore lifeboat to respond to a Mayday call from an 18 ft. motor cruiser, the Lizzy Jane with one adult on board. The boat had broken down with engine failure. She was taken in tow and towed back to the public slip in Dartmouth. The lifeboat crew then proceeded with their regular Tuesday evening training session. They were about to launch when the call was received.

Visitor Centre opening hours

The shop is open from 26 April 2021 from 11am to 1pm. on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday and from 11am to 3pm on Wednesdays. It is hoped to extend these times again shortly.
