A person was reported to be under a capsized boat at Vire Island , Totnes. The D class lifeboat was chosen as the tide was so low. The Totnes fire crew managed to right the boat and reported that nobody was underneath it. The lifeboat volunteers were stood down..

Visitor Centre opening hours

The shop is now open from 11am to 3pm. on Monday, Thursday and Saturday and from 11am to 1pm on Tuesday and Wednesdays. After closing on Saturday 4 December the VC will be closed until the start of half term week in Feb 2022.
