A white 12ft speedboat was reported to be drifting, with no-one onboard, towards Blackstone Point in the Dart estuary. The lifeboat crew found it grounded on the rocks, just west of Sugary Cove. The outboard engine was in the up position and it was presumed that no-one had been onboard when it became free. The boat was carefully manhandled back into the water and towed to the Dart Harbour pontoon to be identified. It appears that it had come from a running mooring in the Bight of the Dart.
