Search for Missing Person in Stoke Gabriel Area

Location: River Dart from Totnes to Greenway

Dart RNLI inshore lifeboat was requested to launch to assist in a search for a missing person in the Stoke Gabriel area. The River Dart was searched extensively by Dart ILB, working alongside HM Coastguard Search & Rescue Teams from Dartmouth, Prawle Point, Berry Head and Torbay, Dartmoor Search & Rescue Teams, Police and the Police Helicopter After several hours of searching the river the ILB was stood down and returned to station.

Visitor Centre opening hours

The shop is open from 26 April 2021 from 11am to 1pm. on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday and from 11am to 3pm on Wednesdays. It is hoped to extend these times again shortly.
