Search for missing person

Location: Dartmouth harbour

A local man had been reported missing and the Dart RNLI D class inshore lifeboat was tasked to search Warfleet Creek and the shoreline along the South and North Embankments. No one was found by the lifeboat crew or the Police. Land based coastguard SAR teams from Dartmouth and Prawle continued their search of Blackpool Sands and the coastal path to Compass Cove.

Visitor Centre opening hours

The shop is now open from 11am to 3pm. on Monday, Thursday and Saturday and from 11am to 1pm on Tuesday and Wednesdays. After closing on Saturday 4 December the VC will be closed until the start of half term week in Feb 2022.
