Search for object in the water

A River Link pleasure craft reported an object in the river, possibly a tent, at Long Reach Totnes. The Coastguard requested the inshore lifeboat to investigate. A tent was found floating in the river. The river and banks were searched up to Baltic Wharf and when nothing was found the tent was handed to the mobile Coastguard team. Visitor Centre opening hours

The shop is now open from 11am to 3pm. on Monday, Thursday and Saturday and from 11am to 1pm on Tuesday and Wednesdays. After closing on Saturday 4 December the VC will be closed until the start of half term week in Feb 2022.
