Search for two youths in rowing boat up river

Location: River Dart between Sharpham and Totnes

Two youths were reported overdue in a rowing boat between Sharpham and Totnes. When the lifeboat crew were in the search area the Coastguard reported that the youths had been found and asked he crew to continue searching for the boat. Nothing was found by the lifeboat or the Coastguard SAR team from Berry Head who provided the communications link between the lifeboat and the Coastguard in Falmouth.

Visitor Centre opening hours

The shop is now open from 11am to 3pm. on Monday, Thursday and Saturday and from 11am to 1pm on Tuesday and Wednesdays. After closing on Saturday 4 December the VC will be closed until the start of half term week in Feb 2022.
