The Coastguard paged the D class lifeboat to a drifting 22ft. speedboat with two adults and two children aboard. They were towed in from the mouth of the river and then the crew took them in an alongside tow to their berth in Waterhead Creek, Kingswear.

The shop is now open from 11am to 3pm. on Monday, Thursday and Saturday and from 11am to 1pm on Tuesday and Wednesdays. It is hoped to extend these times again shortly.
