The RNLI Dart Atlantic 75 lifeboat was diverted from training by the Coastguard to a 40ft yacht in Start Bay with a rope around her propeller and rudder. Her three crew were unable to steer her and she was heading for Dartmouth under jib. The  lifeboat quickly established a tow and she was taken to her berth in Dartmouth Harbour.
