Over 100 guests gathered in the Dartmouth Guildhall to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the RNLI Dart lifeboat becoming operational.
Dart Lifeboat reached a milestone on 7th November 2017 as it marked our 10 year anniversary of being an operational Lifeboat Station. As such we marked the event with crew past and present, fundraisers, RNLI staff and close friends of Dart Lifeboat. We entertained at The Guildhall with a fabulous dinner provided by The Royal Castle. Following dinner and speeches, presentations were made to acknowledge ops team members who have served 10 years or more with the RNLI and also to fundraisers who have also made such a valiant effort over the years that allows our crew to go to sea. The serious presentations were followed by the not so serious bloomers presentations presented by Buster and Rich. These marked the biggest bloomers over the last 10 years.
We finished the evening with live music from the Bad Hombres who put the icing on the cake for the event. We were blessed to have so many friends and family with us to mark the event, and we remember those that we wish could have been there to enjoy it with us who have been such a large part of our station and its success.
