Casualty with back injury stretchered ashore

A lady on the 60ft. sailing barge, Klevia, had slipped on the wet deck and fallen, injuring her back and head. The Coast Guard tasked the inshore lifeboat to transfer the duty Ambulance Paramedic, who was also a member of the Dart RNLI lifeboat crew, to the scene. The casualty was given pain relief, immobilised and transferred by stretcher to an Ambulance at the Higher Ferry slip on the Kingswear side. Lifeboat crew; Kevin Murphy, Helmsman.
