Five adults retrieved in a dory with engine failure

Five adults were seen by the National Coast Watch Station at Froward Point to be rowing a broken down 3.2 metre Zodiac yacht tender from the Mewstone back towards Dartmouth. They were facing a headwind and an increasingly strong ebb tide. The Coastguard tasked the RNLI Dart inshore lifeboat to assist them. When the lifeboat reached them they had been rowing for 40 minutes. They were towed back to their berth at Darthaven Marina.
