The Coastguard requested that the RNLI Dart inshore lifeboat assist the Ambulance service in the extraction of a man with a fractured hip and other injuries at Brutus Bridge, Totnes. The lifeboat was stood down as she passed up river at Dittisham as the casualty had been recovered.

Visitor Centre opening hours

The shop is now open from 11am to 3pm. on Monday, Thursday and Saturday and from 11am to 1pm on Tuesday and Wednesdays. After closing on Saturday 4 December the VC will be closed until the start of half term week in Feb 2022.
