Members of the public saw a small sailing vessel with two adults on board requesting assistance off Beesands. They notified the Coastguard who called out the ILB. The ILB was launched but stood down as they passed Redlap Cove, en route to the casualty, as a local fishing boat had rendered assistance and was towing them in.

Visitor Centre opening hours

The shop is now open from 11am to 3pm. on Monday, Thursday and Saturday and from 11am to 1pm on Tuesday and Wednesdays. After closing on Saturday 4 December the VC will be closed until the start of half term week in Feb 2022.
