A 28 foot motorboat with four adults and three young children onboard, suffered an engine failure close to the Dancing Beggars. Following their request for help to the Coastguard, the large RIB, Sharktopus, took them in tow and was met at the Western Blackstone by the RNLI inshore lifeboat. The RIB brought the motorboat into the river mouth where the lifeboat took over the tow and took them to the Visitor's pontoon at Darthaven.
