Assisted a Hire boat with engine failure

Launch No: 332
Craft: Spirit of the Dart. D-702
Monday, 7 May 2018
Location: Between the Castles. Dartmouth harbour.

Whilst afloat, having just completed  the previous shout, the Coastguard diverted the RNLI inshore lifeboat to a hire boat with 2 adults and 2 children on board. They were towing them back to Dittisham when they met the operator of the hire company who had come down river to find them. The operator took over the tow opposite the Dartmouth Yacht Club.
