Inflatable rescued from path of Higher Ferry

The Dart Inshore Lifeboat was about to be recovered after a training exercise when the crew saw a small inflatable dinghy with five people on board that had suffered engine failure right in the path of the Higher Ferry. The ILB gave immedate assistance and towed the vessel to the landing pontoon at Coronation Park.

Visitor Centre opening hours

The shop is now open from 11am to 3pm. on Monday, Thursday and Saturday and from 11am to 1pm on Tuesday and Wednesdays. After closing on Saturday 4 December the VC will be closed until the start of half term week in Feb 2022.
