The Air Ambulance was also tasked by the Coastguard and landed in the field adjacent to the beach. The first aid trained lifeboat crew placed him in their roll up stretcher to take him to the beach where he was assessed by the Air Ambulance paramedic along with the crew of a SW ambulance.
