RNLI Dart D-Class to the Rescue

RNLI Dart D Class Lifeboat launched to assist a yachtsman who had trapped his mooring lines after leaving the drying rack at Kingswear. The crew helped the solo yachtsman to recover the lines, secure the vessel and returned him to Dartmouth. The crew were paged at 1836, and launched 12 minutes later.

Visitor Centre opening hours

The shop is now open from 11am to 3pm. on Monday, Thursday and Saturday and from 11am to 1pm on Tuesday and Wednesdays. After closing on Saturday 4 December the VC will be closed until the start of half term week in Feb 2022.
